SARMA provides a comprehensive, interactive programme of networking and information events, as well as training courses aimed at delivering personal member value.

Annual conferences
The Association's annual conference is a major event, including high class talks and plenary sessions on a central theme, involving participants from all over Switzerland. Attendance at SARMA's annual conferences provides excellent opportunities to increase expertise on many levels, to directly dialogue with other professionals, as well as to exchange knowledge and best practice.
Info events
SARMA's info lunches and apéros are "face-to-face" networking events. Hosted by a partner from Swiss industry, academia or government, they comprise information about the host, his R&D management practices & experiences and a central related topic. They are designed to enable members to come together and learn from each other, thereby widening their contacts and stimulating cross-disciplinary culture and exchange.
Training courses and workshops
SARMA's training courses and workshops are organised on an as-needed basis, and address various issues common to public and private R&D settings, such as:
- Acquisition of R&D funds
- Contractual issues
- Facilitation of technology transfer
- Communication issues
